The more comments I get here and the more I read elsewhere it seems that people really do want a foolproof system to make guaranteed money online. Well, this is exactly what we are going to have here. A guide to making roughly a thousand dollars in 30 days.
I will say right from the get go that if you are lazy, can’t (i.e won’t) work for a minimum of 2 hours every day, 7 days a week, for a month, then stop reading now and stop moaning about the day job. Making money on the Internet is difficult, in so far as it takes a lot of your time to get anywhere.
Anyway, we are going to spend the next month working on 1 single article that we will write and making that article make us $1000 dollars a month for a long time to come. Now, it goes without saying that if you pick the wrong niche, the wrong product, or have a crappy article and it is laid out like your Dog was sick on it then you can forget earning the good money.
So, we need to ensure that we have a nicely designed article and that it is well written. We want an Amazon image at the top of the article that you link to the product itself or my personal preference now is to link to a search result for that product. We will also want a very prominent link for people to click on to buy the product.
You will need to put this article on a site that is at least 3 months old and has had regular backlinks to its content already. If your site does not currently rank on page 1 for a good number of terms then you have not been doing your work properly for the site and need to get your ass in to gear.
If you have no suitable site then use Hubpages. Update for 2012, forget Hubpages. Use another Web 2.0 such as webs.com or something similar. Yes, they take a big chunk of the cash so minimize that by using a static image top right and use a link module below that with your Amazon link to the product. Then use Amazon modules lower down in the article.
First off you have to spend a dollar. Sign up to the The Keyword Academy so that you can use their Postrunner system. If you haven’t already done this then you are missing out on the least time consuming way to get backlinks bar none. If you don’t like it after the first month then cancel your account, you will have lost a dollar.
There are also going to be a few other affiliate links throughout this article. Use them or not, but after we have been using these tools we have made so much more money and saved so much time it is not even funny. But if you doubt the value or are totally hard up then do the work manually, it is absolutely up to you.
Either read all this now or bookmark it and come back to each step.
- Keyword research. Forget Adwords use Wordtracker. We are not messing about here guys, pick a tough Keyword. Something that gets at least 1000 searches a day or at least something close. We are going to be playing with the big boys from now on. No looking for those “greens” and those longtails to make a dollar every other day, we are going for hard stuff. Do not look up the competition in Google, forget about it. Just pick a very popular item or search term that gets 1000 people plus a day. You also want an item that has a few other highly searched terms. It could be a single item that is popular in different colors or it could be a single item that people use a few different main search queries for, either way it must be high traffic. Now write your article. You want a short main post title, no buying keywords here just the main term. If it is socks then it is socks. Then we will have four or five sub-headings through the post. i.e white socks for sale, red socks, best blue socks. Whatever we find that has lots of searches. But we need to go for something that is very popular and in the best sellers lists for that niche in amazon. And it should ideally be for $100 dollars or more. If we are going to get to the 8% commission payout on Amazon then we only need to sell 4 items a day to make about $1000 a month. Sounds a little easier now doesn’t it? So, content written, keywords research done? Good, time for some sleep and see you tomorrow.
- Right, the content is done. We now turn our attention to backlinks. This is where most will freak out. You need to get 10 backlinks every day for the rest of this challenge. At least ten. If not more. So, to start with we are going to write 10 Postrunner articles every day. If you can’t do that in a day then something is wrong. It should take you about an hour and a half, sit down and write 10 posts in a row about your term. No distractions, no reading anything online. Switch the pc on and log in to Postrunner and write them without a rest. It is quick once you get in to it.

- So, we now have 100 article submitted that will eventually give us 100 links. Time to give them a tiny boost so they are indexed. Use the free ImAutomator as well as Onlywire and bookmark them all. You may wish to do this daily as you get notified that your articles have gone live. I would recommend this. You are now going to have to dip your hands in to your pockets. Go to Backlinks Philippines and buy a backlink package that you can afford. I would go for an 80 package at least, if not a 120. Very inexpensive and well worth the money. If you can’t afford it or something then use this $8 package for 50 sites to get links from high PR sites that I talk about on the tools to succeed page. It will take you half a day to submit to them so you may have to split the work over a few days while you are also doing the other stuff too. Again, if you do the links yourself make sure to bookmark every one as you go. If you get John from Backlinks Philippines to do it he pings all the links for you. You could also bookmark them if you wish once he sends you the final report in a week or two.
- Back to Postrunner. You may well find that you have used up most or all the sites that are even remotely in your niche. Use all the general article directories there as well. This will probably be about it for Postrunner but just keep submitting articles until you have links form anywhere you can on there. Do it as part of your daily activity until you have used up as many as you can.
- let’s see where we rank? Hmm, are you there yet? I doubt it for anything that is highly competitive but who knows, maybe you are already there. But the chances are that the Backlinks Philippines package will not be completed for a week or more. Hey, we are all here to make money, right? - So, we are still dong the Postrunners every day until we can’t use any more of their sites. Now we can submit to all the usual suspects. Today send an article to Ezinearticles, easyarticles, articleblast, and any other usual suspects and maybe an Infobarrel too. Optional but this is well worth the money if you ask me. Backlink Solutions. Join on day 1 and you may get in before the month is up. They only ever accept new people now and then and it costs $97 a month. If you join then you will have to submit a spun article in to their system. Look for a free spinner if you don’t own one or buy MAR. Do a 100 spins and set it to 20 submissions day. Half an hour gets you 100 links, not bad eh? I know this all sounds like you need to pay a lot of money so skip any paid for tools if you want. Apart from Backlinks Philippines and Postrunner. You need them to get enough links. Easy day today so get ready for tomorrow.
- It is competition time. Go to every listing on Google for the first two pages and if it is for an article rather than a homepage then turn on the free SEO Quake for Firefox, if you don’t already have it then download it. See what backlinks they have in their Yahoo link profile. You want to get links from as many of the same sources as you possibly can. 2 hours a day doing this will take some time so we will allow 5 days.

- Today we will take a look at our keywords stats to see what people are coming to our article for. We will re-work our post in a minimal fashion by adding in those terms to the post. We may need to add content or simply chane a few words around to optimize the post. Should take half an hour at the most.
- Spend a day going through the first ten pages in Google. Any site that may be even remotely suitable contact them and ask for a link to your post. Offer them something in return such as a link from another site that you own or offer to write them a Hub. This is going to take some time so get on with it. Contacting them all will take a couple of days.
- Carry on contacting owners.
- Continue writing your Postrunners if you can or if not then set up links on article directories for two hours. Ten articles minimum either way.
- For the next 3 days we will write 6 Hubs. 2 today all pointing a link to our main article.

- 10 postrunners linking to 2 Hubs, and as it is the last day another 10 Postrunners linking to the last 2 Hubs. They should be a longtail version of your main keyword and should end up making money in their own right. Or write 15 postrunners on the last two days each.
So, a complete guide to making some serious money in 30 days. Don’t worry if you are not ranking super amazing today, give it another month for all the links to consolidate. If you work like this for two hours every day then you do not need millions of bits of content online. Work the stuff that you make money from very hard. And you may even find that this is still not enough links. If not do another Backlinks Philippines run and just note on your submission that you want links from different sites to the last submission, they are great like that.
If you want to really make money then stop using all of your time writing content for your own sites. You should spend 90% of your time getting backlinks to your content. Most people simply never put this in to practice.
In reality this is just an example of how you should really be working your content to get it ranking. You don’t have to follow it exactly. But the truth is a lot of people seem to really want a concrete system to follow. This works and works well but if you can’t fit in a few hours a day for your business you are going to take a long time to get anywhere.
Anyway, use the tools I talk about if you can or simply do the best that you can with free stuff. But Postrunner at least is a must for a month, it costs a dollar. And I now find Backlinks Philippines absolutely invaluable too. Just don’t be scared of going after the big stuff. Use your imagination, go for something tough, you may just find the rewards are more than worth it. All the tools I talk about are on my Tools To Succeed page. Just don’t buy anything unless you can afford it. I spent a long time doing fine without buying anything, it just depends on making sure that you do the work either way. If you run out of places to get links from because you don’t want to buy any tools then simply go through all the sites you have already submitted to and do it again. 2 links from a site is not a bad thing, just use a slightly varied anchor text.
